What to Expect

The Procedure
Your provider begins with a detailed lip assessment to determine the ideal shape, volume, and proportion for your face. A topical numbing cream is applied for 15–20 minutes for comfort. Using a fine needle or cannula, hyaluronic acid filler is carefully layered into the lips to build volume, define the border, and correct asymmetry. The filler contains lidocaine for additional comfort during the process.
Results & Duration
Results are visible immediately, with final appearance settling after swelling subsides in 1–2 weeks. Lip filler typically lasts 6–9 months, depending on the product used and your individual metabolism.
Recovery
Expect swelling for 2–3 days, with possible bruising lasting up to a week. Avoid vigorous exercise for 24 hours, and avoid hot beverages and spicy foods for the first day. Apply ice gently as needed. Most clients return to normal activities the same day.
