Platelet Rich Plasma / PRP
A regenerative treatment using your own platelet-rich plasma to stimulate collagen and rejuvenate skin.
Best For
Skin rejuvenation, hair restoration, under-eye dark circles
What to Expect
A small blood draw, followed by application of concentrated PRP to the treatment area.
The Procedure
A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm and placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma. The concentrated PRP is then applied topically or injected into the treatment area. For skin rejuvenation, PRP is often combined with microneedling to drive the plasma deep into the skin. For hair restoration, PRP is injected into the scalp at the follicle level.
Results & Duration
Initial improvement appears within 2–4 weeks as collagen production increases. Optimal results develop over 3–6 months. For best results, a series of 3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended, with maintenance treatments every 6–12 months.
Recovery
Mild redness and swelling for 1–3 days, similar to a mild sunburn. If injections were used, small pinpoint marks may be visible for 24 hours. Avoid washing the treated area for 12 hours and avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
